The Beauty of SEO

Remember when cell phones were for phone calls, and texting was only an option? Remember when computers were for government and business use only, and learning to use one was only an option? Remember when laptops were not a necessity, and only an added benefit?

Don’t. We. All.

Here’s the thing:

SEO

Technology is an inseparable part of our lives, whether we like it or not. I’m here to give you a leg-up. I’m here to help you not be “that guy”. “That guy” who never wanted to text. “That guy” who didn’t want to learn how to use a computer. “That guy” who refused to use a laptop in the office and for work. When it comes to Millennials, we’re experts at not being “that guy”. In fact, we refuse to be.

Now, remember when SEO was only an option, and not all that important to learn? Not so long ago, right? Well let’s not be “that guy”. It’s time to learn. If you start learning SEO now, you’ll be ahead of the game and an invaluable resource… instead of being “that guy”.

Where to start?

Well first things first. Create a web page for your company. Already done? Good… you’re ahead of the game. No idea how to do that? Talk to whoever you need to talk to in order to get it done. Otherwise, do it yourself. It’s not that hard! More on that later though.

I bet your first instinct to get more information about SEO is to search the internet (go ahead, try it out… I know you want to). Ironically, that’s exactly what you want people to do when they’re looking for the product and/or service that you provide. This is where an infinite amount of companies, and bloggers, would say, “Ummm no we don’t… we won’t show up in their search…” That’s a problem. A big one. And how do we fix that? SEO.

Straight to the PointThe Social Media Master

So let’s get started. Why is generation y begging you to do this?

Here’s reason #1:

MILLENNIALS LOVE THE INTERNET.

I’m going to guess you knew that already. Here’s the other part of that:

MILLENNIALS LOVE TO USE GOOGLE.

“Googling” is a common word in the “Generation Y Dictionary”. What we don’t love is finding dead-end after dead-end, as a result of the failed SEO efforts of credible and important information sources, when our search results are returned.

So why would you to learn SEO? I’m going to be “that guy” that answers your question with another question: Do you want your website to be high-up on the search results? Let me answer that for you—YES.
